HELLO...
When I was young I spent countless hours flipping through our family photo albums, admiring the precious photographs of my four siblings and I when we were younger: the pictures of day-to-day things, my parents when they were children, and my grandparents many years ago. Now, at twenty eight, I recognise that photography is a gift; it captures and preserves feelings and moments, and grows in value as the years pass.
I love creating living photographs, the kind of photographs that take your breath away and make your heart sing, because to be honest, your family is far too important and life is far too short for anything less. My approach to photography is both natural and gentle. To capture people comfortably and candidly is paramount.
With new life, I am all about creating an authentic document of your newborn. Capturing their perfect little details in a way they will never be again; brand new. We really only get a small fraction of time, around 5-14 days, before your newborn quickly transitions into a baby.
Whether I am photographing a fresh newborn or an established family, the way I pose and direct my clients is natural, focusing heavily on genuine human interaction. It's the thing we crave most, and preserving it is something truly special. I enjoy a minimalistic style of editing using simple adjustments of tones and light. I want your photographs to be timeless, in other words, I want your photographs to still be considered classic as the years pass and styles, trends and fashion changes.
I enjoy photographing everyone, but I also enjoy spending time with my loved ones and traveling. For this reason, I only book six sessions per month. Family sessions & newborn bookings are often booked up to six months in advance, so please fill out a contact form as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
